2026 • ONLINE COURSES
Great Books, Great People, Great Fun

For Those Who Want to be Challenged

I’m pleased to announce that I am offering seven private online courses during 2026. Topics range from the feminism of Simone de Beauvoir and Virginia Woolf to Plato’s classic dialogue, Meno. I’m particularly excited about reading Margaret Mitchell’s woefully misunderstood epic of the American South, Gone With the Wind. The courses can be taken individually or as short sequences.

  • The Second Sex Gets A Room of One’s Own:
The Feminism of Beauvoir and Woolf

    7 Weeks Online | Starting January 5
  • A Brace of Brontës: Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights
    6 Weeks Online | Starting March 2
  • Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind:

    6 Weeks Online | Starting April 20
  • Milton’s Paradise Regained PLUS!
    8 Weeks Online | Starting June 15
